Baby Week

According to UNICEF, "Comprehensive care for the health, education, and protection of children in the first years of life are essential to ensure their full development. Therefore, early childhood must be a priority on the municipal agenda.

Baby Week is a national, intersectoral initiative that promotes early childhood care (ages 0 to 6), with activities focused on the health, education, care, and comprehensive development of children and pregnant women. Organized by UNICEF in partnership with municipalities, the initiative takes place on specific dates in different cities, involving lectures, workshops, recreational activities, and community and family involvement.

The City Hall of Pedra Branca, in Ceará, established, in 2025, the event starting on October 20th (https://www.pedrabranca.ce.gov.br/informa/316/abertura-da-semana-do-beb-2025). Karol Faixas was given the mission of developing a special band for the first baby to be born in this special week. Did we fulfill the mission well?
